Power metal band ATREIDES, which is already working on its second album "Neopangea", has released its first music video today. The band has chosen the song "Frágiles" for the video, which is going to be included on its second album.
In January they also released a lyric video for "Penitencia".
ATREIDES will be playing live in September 26th with Tyr in Vigo (Sala Master), and soon they will announce other dates.
A MS Metal Records confirmou no dia 07 de junho, o lançamento do single “Bleeding Heart”, interpretado pelo italiano Titta Tani, primeiro extraído do CD tributo aos 25 de carreira do vocalista Edu Falaschi, intitulado “A New Lease of Life: 25th Anniversary Tribute”.
O primeiro volume será lançado no mês de junho, nos formatos físico e digital, e contará com distribuição da Voice Music (Brasil, no formato físico), CD-Baby (mundialmente no formato digital) e Die Hard Records (São Paulo, no formato físico).

"»Acid Roulette« chronicles the life trials of a traveling man who was imprisoned for a murderous crime," comments vocalist Aryn Jonathan Black. "He was forced into confessing by his wife and her wealthy lover so that they could live out their romance without him in the picture. Once sentenced to a life's term, he goes through extreme emotions dealing with the only woman he'd ever loved taking everything he'd known as "real" away from him. He has to create and redefine his own reality accompanied by its roller coaster of emotional reflection. He experiences many different psychological changes throughout the years and escapes by means of drugs and his writings. These songs become his diary of a madman. The focus is mainly on the seasons in a year, for each song represents a month. The songs exist to drive home the full power of human emotion as many albums do, however, »Acid Roulette« wires us into those extremes."
Once again, the band recorded at The Bubble in Austin, TX with Chris ‘Frenchie’ Smith (THE ANSWER, AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRAIL OF DEAD...) who produced and arranged the band’s self-titled, first full-length. »Acid Roulette« was mixed by Dave Schiffman (THE MARS VOLTA, DEAD MEADOW, JANE'S ADDICTION, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE). The album's artwork, pictured above, was a collaboration by Aryn Jonathan Black, photographer Max Taylor and graphic designer Rob Kimura.

These two new tracks give us a furtive glimpse into the Texans highly anticipated upcoming sophomore album. Aryn Jonathan Black returns with his rich, electrifying vocals interweaved with the groove laden riffs of guitarist Christopher Jay Cowart and the sauntering bass work of Alec Caballero Padron. SCORPION CHILD are completed by Jon ‘Charn’ Rice (drums) and AJ Vincent (keyboards). More impassioned than ever, SCORPION CHILD have something to prove.
"This will be our darkest and coldest album in a long time: pure Blashyrkh metal the way our fans know it, with massive, majestic riffs, grim, frostbitten vocals and tales from our mighty realm. Fast and furious tracks, epic tracks and longer playtime than any of our previous albums."
Founding IMMORTAL member, lyricist and guitarist Demonaz is now also handling the vocals.
"The massive fan support has been very inspiring and we will not let down the fans. This last year, we have completed all the new songs and look forward to record our most passionate album in a long time. The songwriting process has been awesome and we are soon ready to start the recordings."
In a time when true and original black metal is nearly dead, the band is in ultimate spirit: "After the last year's incidents, it was time to go back to the roots to what this band is really about musically, and also to take the integrity of the band back to where it belongs. Cold, grim, uncompromising Blashyrkh metal with a true feeling is what we deliver."
From 2010 until 2014, IMMORTAL wrote all the songs for the successor to »All Shall Fall«, but when ex-member Abbath left the band in 2014, he changed the lyrics, song titles and recorded these songs for his so called "solo album": "We had to focus on making a new album nearly from scratch, which is the main reason why things have taken this much time. We are now looking forward to record the new album and present it to all those who have shown their loyalty and support. IMMORTAL have always been a unique and unstoppable force, and that goes for our fans as well. We will never change our music or attitude."

O projeto Rock na Praça, que traz nomes da cena Rock'n'Roll para apresentações gratuitas em São Paulo, confirmou a BUSIC GANG como primeira atração da terceira edição do evento que acontece em 26 de junho, último domingo do mês, na Rua 24 de Maio, em frente à Galeria do Rock.
BUSIC GANG é o novo projeto dos irmãos Andria e Ivan Busic cujo repertório comemora a passagem da dupla por algumas bandas onde tocaram como Dr. Sin, Platina e Taffo além de clássicos do Rock como AC/DC, Deep Purple, Rush e Malmsteen. A banda conta ainda com o guitarrista Hard Alexandre, conhecido por sua carreira na música pesada.
O evento será o palco de estreia da BUSIC GANG. “Ficamos felizes em participar do Rock na Praça. Será uma estreia em casa”, diz o baterista Ivan Busic. “Creio que a galera vai pirar no som e no repertório”.
"Mais uma vez a cena Rock vai ocupar um espaço público na Cidade. Aos poucos estamos conseguindo integrar a cultura Rock à Cidade e fazer com que a gente se sinta abraçado por projetos como esse", diz o idealizador do Rock na Praça, o músico e empreendedor cultural Fabricio Ravelli.
A edição passada do Rock na Praça contou com as bandas Torture Squad Woslom, Sinaya e John Wayne e a primeira com Nervosa, Worst, Pompeu e Amigos e Project 46. Cada uma contou com público de cinco mil pessoas.

O clipe sugere uma possível escravidão inconsciente à qual a sociedade atual está inserida. Uma ideia de servidão voluntária, que cada vez mais impossibilita a percepção da situação servil em que vivemos.

A banda catarinense DEADPAN concedeu uma entrevista ao site The Metal World. Em um interessante bate papo a banda falou um pouco sobre seu atual momento, citando os projetos feitos nos anos de 2015/2016, dentre eles a imensa turnê de divulgação do debut álbum, a mais recente novidade da banda, trata-se de um gibi que complementa a história do encarte do álbum “In Aliens We Trust” e também os projetos futuros da banda.
A banda gaúcha de Heavy Rock LOUDER divulgou capa e tracklist do EP de estreia “Take One”. O disco foi gravado no Estúdio Maninho, em Veranópolis (RS), com produção a cargo de Ricardo Ledur Gottardo e Maninho.

Wolf Hoffmann has a passion. His life-long love and dedication to heavy metal music is documented in dozens of albums spanning four decades with his long time heavy metal bandACCEPT. But beyond heavy metal, Wolf has an incessant craving for the classics, yes, the ones written decades and centuries ago.
Classical music has always been an influence - albeit limited - on ACCEPT's Teutonic approach to rock and heavy metal. However, it wasn't until 1997 during a extended hiatus from ACCEPT, thatWolf Hoffmann finally had the chance to fully explore and fulfill this interest by recording his first astounding solo album »Classical«, a record filled with his rock guitar driven interpretations of some of classical music’s most loved compositions.
"I have always incorporated classical music in my songwriting with ACCEPT, especially with »Metal Heart«, but I constantly felt there was so much more that I could do and I did not want to overload ACCEPT or force it in any way. I always knew I could make a whole record of it and that’s how the first record »Classical« was born. Even today, fans tell me that they are still listening to it, that's why it is so fantastic now to do another one."
»Headbangers Symphony« is truly a bold statement by a genuine musician who simply refused to rest on his laurels and continues to push and challenge himself.
"I am just so excited about »Headbangers Symphony«. It has taken a long, long time but here we are, it's done, finally!" Wolf is just bursting with vigor as he talks about his latest labor of love. But why now? "It's truly coincidental, after we completed the last ACCEPT tour, I finally had the time to finish it. I started this a few years ago. The early recordings have been sitting in my archives in my home studio for years, almost completed. The reality was that with the continued success of ACCEPT, I was only able to work on it when ACCEPT was not recording or touring."
The prevalent early challenge was to pick the most suitable compositions. This was an exploratory process that only increased Wolf's adoration for the classics. "I always listen to classical music, it's always playing throughout my house. I have a huge collection of classics and as I listen - often at random, I take notes if something truly strikes me. When I notice that this or that could work in a translation to rock or heavy metal, I remember it and I pursue it! This has been going on for a long time!"
There are several reasons for the necessary experimentations that faced Wolf. Most classical compositions were written to be performed by a full orchestra. The fluid timing, those multiple, complex layers and sections that stretched out for lengthy periods, classical music was simply never designed to be played to the rigid beat so prevalent in rock 'n' roll.
»Headbangers Symphony« showcases an overabundance of highly skilled improvisations. Wolftook the main pieces, and then wrote riffs that fit them. Lastly, in the grand hard rock tradition, he layered a guitar solo over it. He shaped the sound into a quite adventurous elegance, but the key themes of the originals remained.
The first volume had a focus on the better known pieces; the second - »Headbangers Symphony« - takes a similar approach. "In general, it does follow the same path," admits Wolf,"but this time I did try to add a couple lesser known compositions. Mostly though, listeners will say, hey, I know that melody… so it’s pretty much the same path as the »Classical« record. It was my desire to record melodies I like and melodies people recognise."
Now that the album is done, Wolf is proud looking back and is pleased with this true labour of love; something he has wanted to do since the first record »Classical« came out almost 20 years ago. While ACCEPT's Peter Baltes added several impressive bass lines, and other notable guest musicians made an appearance as well, the bulk of the work was completed by himself and Italian musician and arranger Melo Mafali.
"There are two major categories," Wolf elaborates. "First the heavier stuff like Beethoven, the bombastic, full force epics on which you can simply shred along. Of course then there are the ballads, slower compositions that bring out the deeper feelings in each listener."
The highlights on »Headbangers Symphony« are plentiful and easy to pin point. The album kicks off with 'Scherzo' from the well-known '9th Symphony' by Ludwig v. Beethoven. Many listeners might recognise the opening riff from the ACCEPT song 'Teutonic Terror'. "Back in 2009," Wolf explains, "when we started working on the songs for the »Blood Of The Nations« album, I played the classical demos to our producer Andy Sneap. He liked that riff a lot and insisted on using it for the album. So we wrote 'Teutonic Terror' using this "borrowed" riff."

Beethoven, 'Méditation' from the opera »Thais« by French composer Jules Massenet, and of course the aforementioned 'Madame Butterfly'.
