REVAMP – reveal album title and cover artwork
Today, Dutch metallers REVAMP are happy to present the title and cover artwork of their upcoming new album that’ll be released via Nuclear Blast on - mind the new release date - August 23rd, 2013!
The record will be entitled "Wild Card" - a title that, according to singer Floor Jansen, came about as follows: “This album became the most aggressive album I’ve ever made and in the lyrics I tell a lot about my personal experiences of the last years. This resulted into some heavy stories and some openhearted ‘screams’ I needed out of my system. It matches the violence of the music in a great way, we wrote as a great team! But not one sentence or word can really cover the contents of this album. Its variety in all its ingredients makes it almost impossible. A wild card is an unpredictable and unforeseeable factor. You don’t know what you’re getting, or when. That’s this album! It’s 100% ReVamp and it’s your wild card!”
A concept that’s taken literally in the album artwork, as the power woman explains: “I am the queen of hearts on it, who is a wild card herself. You see a ‘nice’ and a ‘nasty’ queen. The nasty one has a cracked lip, cuts in her face and a bleeding heart in her hand. The other queen looks nice even though queens of hearts never truly are... Again, what is it you’re going to get? In that respect it visualizes the music, from aggressive and nasty to melodic and pretty. This theme has been important to me personally throughout my career and also in this album I played with it to the max. I used my voice in so many different ways now! The music invited me to do this, I am super proud of the amazing guitar riffs, the versatile and groovy but mega tight drums and the keyboard sounds and arrangements that bring something new to the table. We hope you like our wild card!”

The new masterpiece of Finnish metal monsters CHILDREN OF BODOM “Halo Of Blood” is out now!
Recorded and produced by the band in their in-house studio in Helsinki as well as in Petrax Studio, Hollola, with support from Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY, PAIN), “Halo Of Blood” distinctly seizes on the early works’ sense of melody and coarseness, while putting it all into a modern-day soundscape and venturing quite a few new steps, such as presenting both the band’s fastest and slowest song ever.

BEHEMOTH – announces title of forthcoming full-length album: "The Satanist"
BEHEMOTH, who have been holed up in Hertz Studios working on their tenth full-length album, are pleased to announce its title: "The Satanist".
"The Satanist" will come out in the fall of 2013.
"It took us over two decades to come up with a title that…says it all. While our new songs artistically take surprisingly adventurous directions, our message stands steadfast—Proud and Radical. 'The Satanist' stands for undying yearning for liberation and love for freedom in all aspects of life. AMORPHIS – announce 'The Wanderer' video premiere, post screenshots!
Finnish melancholic Dark Metal masters AMORPHIS recently completed the works on the official music video for the song 'The Wanderer' taken from the band's most recent album "Circle".
The video will premiere online next Tuesday, June 11 – keep your eyes and ears open!
Commented the band: "We've had super fun shooting this new video with Patric Ullaeus who did an amazing job as always! See for yourselves - for us, it's one of our favourite music videos from all the ones we've done so far! Enjoy & keep rocking!"

DEATHSTARS – announce new album and line-up changes!
After the massive "Made in Germany" tour 2011/2012 together with RAMMSTEIN dark generals from Sweden, DEATHSTARS, began writing new material for the upcoming album.
In May 2013 DEATHSTARS will do a shorter tour in Australia, headline the MainStage at Blackfield Festival, Germany in June then go back to Sweden to get mobilized for the recordings that are scheduled to start in July. The album, which is yet untitled, marks the band's fourth full-length release and will turn another page in the book of their trademark deathglam music and show new interesting sides of the band while still staying true to their sound.
The recordings will take place in Studio Bohus, Sweden in July and August together with producer & technician Roberto Laghi who will co-produce the album together with Nightmare Industries. It's a cooperation they tried out on the 2 tracks they recorded in 2011 'METAL' and 'Death Is Wasted On The Dead' which worked exceptionally well.
"It's a ride through the most extreme nightclubs in hell, It's got more edge, it's got a rougher side, and it's less sugar coated than our last full length album with darker more twisted melodies. It's got a devilish attitude with a stiff upper lip yet beautiful in a dark deceiving way“, says Nightmare Industries.
"DEATHSTARS is an adventure for us. It's as if it is a phenomenon of it's own, and our forum for destruction, glitter and darkness. We are very excited about the new material and every time we hit the studio we never know what the outcome will be, i mean we have a general idea but we're never a 100% sure how the final result will be until we're done and can sit back and listen to it.“ says Whiplasher Bernadotte
"To add live drums on to DEATHSTARS already massive sound, just makes it even more massive and darker. To enter the studio this summer with great material and Sweden's no.1 drum recorder makes things very exciting“, says Vice.
DEATHSTARS have also parted ways with guitarist Cat Casino, who wanted to focus on other things in life but death.
He would like to say thanks a million times to the fans for all the memories from the time with the band. "It's been an amazing ride and I wish the band the best of luck for the future." - Cat Casino.
DEATHSTARS will continue as a four piece for a while and are not looking for a replacement yet.
"It's hard to replace Cat on a personal level so we won't even bother for now. We're still close friends with Cat and it's not in our plans to look for a new partner in crime. Right now our focus is on the recording process of the new album and after that we'll see if we continue as a 4 piece or find a replacement before the touring starts“, says Skinny Disco.
"I asked our management to get "Fingers" from Compressorhead to do the job as our new rhythm guitarist for the shows we have booked right now, but it turns out he's really high maintenance and a slow learner. We'll see, maybe one day it can work out, it would be awesome and he fits the bands profile“, says Nightmare Industries.
